Deployment

Once the e-learning courses are created they can be deployed through e-start's Learning Management System e-LMS.

e-Start are either be hosted by e-learning WMB or be hosted on your own intranet. No additional software is needed to run the system and it is fairly easy to install and maintain.

e-LMS Learning Management System The e-start system includes a SCORM/AICC Learning Management System on which to run the courses.

The Learning Management System records details such as the time spent on each course, the scores in any exams and the results of any task related assessments.

e-start Induction is more than learning Questions are included in the courses which enables management to find out information about their employees. Questions can be asked such as:

Have you received a company email address?
Have you completed your registration forms?
Do you have an adjustable chair?

Such questions can initiate a process to fulfill the request which is managed by the Learning Management System.

Installation The software requires an internet server(s) running MicroSoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) and SQL Server or the freely available MSDE.

Alternative Learning Management Systems e-start can integrate with Active Directory and existing data sources within your company.

The systems is so flexible that e-start courses can be loaded on third-party SCORM and AICC Learning Management Systems.

Please note that third-party Learning Management Systems will only deal with the training sections of the e-learning and not offer the additional workflow and assessment options that e-start's Learning Management System - eLMS - offers.
